Have you ever looked at the Suspicious Stews in Minecraft and wished that you could get the effects in potion form? Ever wanted to create strange brews with unusual effects? Do you just wanna make Nether Warts last longer? Well, wish no longer!

Touch of Alchemy adds a method to take suspicious stew flowers and other herbs, and grind them into mashes that you can brew into proper potions!

Using mashed herbs, and other materials you can make or find in the world, you can create mystical Alchemical brews with unusual effects, like transforming mobs into bats, or transmuting blocks into gold! (There are currently only two alchemical brews at the moment, but more are planned!)

How to Install Touch of Alchemy on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Touch of Alchemy". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Touch of Alchemy server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Touch of Alchemy compatible with forge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Touch of Alchemy consumes the most tick time.
