About this Mod
"For a moment. I felt fresh air hug me tightly around my empty arms and legs. The brief respite of calm from the wind and the daisies around me. I felt alive again, free from everthing. The pain, the misery, washed away for a little while. But only a little. Until I feel the poison flow through my veins again. As the toxins meld with the blood and sweat. When the fresh feeling of breeze becomes replaced with the numbing pain, and the empty husk becomes cries and screams. As if an old friend came to greet me again. Then you forget. What it was like to be human."
| Warning! This mod is in BETA and subject to possibly bad bugs. Also this mod has a lot of flavour text, I apologize in advance if its a lot to read.

Toxony is a mod about poisons, toxins, preparing oils and weapons, and becoming stronger through mutagens. Themed around mad science, old chemistry and inspired by potion mechanics within the Witcher 3 game.
To start using the mod, craft the "Lost Journal". It should tell you everything you need!
The mod features:
- A toxin system to monitor your toxic make-up. (Think of it like mana but more deadly)
- New plants and special materials.
- New blocks to create special items.
- Mutagen system to gain semi-permanent buffs on your character.
- New unique weapons and tools.
- Special oils that can be applied to any weapons or even weaponized themselves!
- New armours to find and make.
- New alternative to Netherite obtainable in the overworld.
- Some special structures and plants to find in the world.
- A fancy book to read!
- Some decorations themed after copper alchemy.
Includes compatibility features with:
- Just Enough Items
- Vampirism : Silver weapons increase damage to vampires/werewolves.
- Iron's Spells N Spellbooks : Certain mutagens give School Spell Power.
- Curios : Toxicity Gauge can be held in the Charm slot.
and more to come…
As a notice, I won't be porting to 1.20.1 any time soon. I apologise if that was something you look forward to.

Toxony server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Toxony compatible with neoforge?
Toxony officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Toxony – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Toxony consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
