About this Mod
TPS Overlay shows server and client performance on screen without opening the F3 debug overlay. You get TPS, MSPT, ping, and FPS in a small HUD that you can move around and tune to your liking.
The text line uses a custom format with placeholders - show only what you care about. There's also an optional graph that scrolls over time; turn individual metrics on or off if the panel feels crowded.
On servers with the mod installed, TPS and MSPT are measured properly and sent to clients. On a vanilla server you'll still see ping and FPS; server metrics simply won't appear. Use /tpso help for client commands and /tpsc when you want numbers in chat.
Config is in YACL (Mod Menu button if you have it). Position both widgets with /tpso edit.

TPS Overlay server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is TPS Overlay compatible with fabric?
TPS Overlay officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with TPS Overlay – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if TPS Overlay consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
