About this Mod

Description

Gives you a 1/4 chance to trip every time you step onto a tripwire block (placed string). Tripping causes 1 heart of fall damage and stops your movement for 1 second (slowness also gives fov change, which can help give the impression that you just fell on the ground if looking down)

Versions

Supports Java Edition 26.1 - 26.1.2 (older versions untested). Pack is NOT outdated in these version; pack format will be fixed in an update.

How to Install Trip On String on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Trip On String". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
