Tropical World
All-ocean overworld: a sunlit tropical sea of turquoise water and sandy islands with hidden oases. Built on Isekai API.
About this Mod
The overworld becomes a single sunlit tropical sea. Turquoise water from horizon to horizon, scattered sand islets, and rare lush oases tucked among the islands. Powered by Isekai API.
What it does
Tropical World turns the entire overworld into a warm, bright tropical ocean. Sea level rises and the surface reads as open turquoise water broken by sandy islands — a sunlit archipelago instead of continents. Vanilla biomes, ores, structures, and mobs still generate, so it plays like Minecraft, just at sea.
Hidden on the larger islands are oases — clear water pools ringed with grass, reeds, and clustered palms — placed as hand-authored set-pieces that only spawn on flat, dry ground (never half-sunk in the surf), via Isekai API.
Features
All-ocean overworld — turquoise tropical sea with sandy islets, not a continent in sight.
Lush oases — rare, coordinated water-and-palm set-pieces that sit cleanly on island interiors.
Vanilla content preserved — ores, structures, and mobs still generate; this is a reskin of where land is, not an empty water world.
Requirements
Isekai API is required — Tropical World is a worldshape built entirely on Isekai's worldgen primitives.
Compatibility
Coexists with TerraBlender, YUNG's structure mods, map mods (Journeymap etc.), and dimension mods. Mutually exclusive with other overworld-overhaul mods (Terralith, William Wythers') — only one mod can own the overworld; no crash, last-loaded wins.
