⚙️ CONFIGURATION

This mod is highly configurable.

• You can set how quickly Durability drains.
• You can toggle Durability on Horse Armours.
• You can toggle Durability on Horseshoes.
• You can toggle off the Slot Lock on Horseshoes (by default, you need Shears to retrieve them).
• You can set each multiplier for the stats ⚡Speed | ⬆️Jump | 🛡️Armour separately, for each tier of Horseshoes. By Default, Horseshoes give no armour.

HORSESHOES TIERS

Copper Horseshoes

Found in chests

• ⚡Speed: +2 blocks per second
• ⬆️Jump: +0.5 block height
• ⛓️‍💥Durability: 143

Iron Horseshoes

Found in chests & traded by Armorers

• ⚡Speed: +2 blocks per second
• ⬆️Jump: +0.5 block height
• ⛓️‍💥Durability: 195

Golden Horseshoes

Found in Nether & End chests

• ⚡Speed: +4 blocks per second
• ⬆️Jump: +2 blocks height
• ⛓️‍💥Durability: 91

Diamond Horseshoes

Found in Ancient city chests & traded by Armorers

• ⚡Speed: +3 blocks per second
• ⬆️Jump: +1 block height
• ⛓️‍💥Durability: 429

Netherite Horseshoes

Upgraded with a Smithing Template like Diamond Horse Armor.

• ⚡Speed: +3 blocks per second
• ⬆️Jump: +1 block height
• ⛓️‍💥Durability: 481

They are enchantable (same as Boots), so you can have Frost Walker or Depth Strider on them to help you cross water. The horse will return damage with Thorns and survive deadly falls with Feather Falling too.

They can be retrieved at any moment using Shears.
You need to sneak to equip & retrieve them, so it feels like real Blacksmith work!
When Durability is low, you can repair them on an anvil, use Mending holding them in your hand, or just smelt them for a nugget.

For consistency, Horse Armours are now also enchantable but subject to Durability!

You can however toggle off Durability in the config.
