About this Mod
Hi, this is my first project and I’m just learning, so you’re free to comment with due respect any feedback or suggestions. I really hope you like my work.
This is a beta version, so the mod doesn't have a translation yet and may have some bugs. I have some ideas to improve my mod that I hope to implement in the future.
Mod Description: Unnecessarily Harder Armors
This mod is designed for those who seek an additional challenge in their Minecraft experience by making the process of obtaining vanilla armors more complex and adding a new layer of strategy to their usage.
New Armors:
Instead of crafting iron, diamond, netherite, or gold armor directly, you now have to go through two intermediate stages to obtain the standard armor from the base game. For example, to get a full iron armor set, you first need to craft the Light Iron Armor, followed by the Medium Iron Armor, before finally obtaining the Iron Armor as we know it in the base game. This process repeats for all higher-tier armors like diamond, netherite, and gold, making each piece of equipment harder to obtain and, therefore, more valuable.

Armor Weight System:
The mod also introduces an innovative weight system that affects the player's movement speed depending on the level of armor they are wearing. The higher the quality of the armor (such as netherite or diamond), the slower you will move. This system is designed to simulate the weight of heavy armors, creating a dynamic where players must choose between maximum protection and agility in combat. Will you opt for full defense with heavy armor and risk being slower, or prefer light armor that allows you to move quickly on the battlefield?
Important Compatibility Note:
This mod replaces original vanilla game recipes to function. If any other mod that modifies the original recipes is installed after this one, some recipes might not work. The solution I recommend is to create your world with the mods you want, and once created, install this mod afterward.
