About this Mod
This project, was originally designed for a small server of friends. It incorporates a new feel on vanilla combat and diversifies playstyles with new weapons and crafting recipes.

Rapier
Greatsword
Morning Star
Dagger
Adds 2 New Items:
Weapon Handle
Steel Plating
Adds 3 Custom Effects:
Bleed - Damage over time effect
Stun - Restricts movement for a brief period of time
Cooldown - A universal cooldown potion effect for weapon abilites
Two-Handed Weapons:
Both the Greatsword and Battleaxe are two-handed weapons, which require the offhand to be empty to use.
Sound Effects and Weapon Abilities:
Rapier - Dash, deals damage
Greatsword - AOE smash, debuffs enemies and inflicts stun
Battleaxe - Deals stun on full hit
Morning Star - strikes lightning when hitting
Dagger - inflicts bleed
STATS for nerds:
Greatsword: 1.3 Attack Speed
Sweep: Medium-low damage, high debuffs, high AOE and long cooldown
Iron - 9 Damage
Diamond - 11 Damage
Netherite - 14 Damage
Rapier: 1.7 Attack Speed
Dash: low cooldown, long range, (only netherite: deals damage, wither and bleed)
Iron - 4.5 Damage
Diamond - 5.5 Damage
Netherite - 7.5 Damage
Morning Star: 1.4 Attack Speed
Lightning: A chance to strike lightning when swinging
Iron - 6.5 Damage, 40% Chance
Diamond - 7.5 Damage, 50% Chance
Netherite - 8.5 Damage, 70% Change
Battle Axe: 0.5 Attack Speed
Stunning blows: Deals stun every hit
Iron - 13 Damage
Diamond - 15 Damage
Netherite - 17.5 Damage
Dagger: 2.5 Attack Speed
Bleed: Deals 1.5 seconds of bleed every hit
Iron - 3 Damage, Bleed I
Diamond - 4 Damage, Bleed II
Netherite - 5 Damage, Bleed III and Wither II

How to Install Vanilla Combat Improvements on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Vanilla Combat Improvements". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
