Vanilla Molotovs
Adds Vanilla-like Molotovs
About this Mod
This mod adds Molotov cocktails to Minecraft in a fully vanilla-like way, keeping the mechanics simple and consistent with the base game. Molotovs can be crafted and thrown to spread fire across the ground, giving players a new strategic option during combat, survival, or exploration.
When thrown, the Molotov shatters on impact with the ground or an entity, igniting the surrounding area and setting nearby mobs on fire. This makes it useful for crowd control, creating traps, or quickly dealing with dangerous situations.
The mechanic is designed to feel like it naturally belongs in Minecraft, using familiar gameplay behavior and balance.
⚠️ Important:
To throw a Molotov, you must light it using a flint and steel in your off-hand. Without lighting it first, the Molotov cannot be used.
A simple but powerful addition for players who want more survival and combat options without breaking the vanilla feel of Minecraft.
