About this Mod
This mod was made for an SMP me and my friends played on, but like the mod was pretty big so I decided to publish it to modrinth.
Vehemence is a mod which adds custom weapons that can be used for a unique pvp experience. There are 7 main items which are in the mod. (I did not come up with the names btw, I forgot who did)
- The Eclipse Judgement: It permanently bans the person who got killed by it
- The Everburn Fang: 14 attack damage, right click to make an respawn anchor explosion (with a short delay)
- The Forsaken Vortex: 14 attack damage, right click to pull your opponent towards you (with a 1 minute cooldown)
- Scepter of Perdition: Right click to give entities around you darkness
- The Spectral Lantern: Right click to give entities around you glowing
- The Ethereal Prism: Throw a "Revolted Bottle of Dreadstone" on it to make a 40x40 cage which will shrink in the next 7 minutes. Any players inside the cage can't escape and will get banned after the 7 minutes ends (It may crash if you are in a single player world)
- The Ecliptic Conduit: Right click to switch between a thunderstorm and clear weather
There are 2 blocks that can't be crafted normally, but you can use the "Condensed Beacon" to make the 2 blocks. How the Condensed Beacon works is that you have to place it on top of a full netherite beacon (It's like a full netherite beacon but you replace the beacon with a condensed beacon). The 2 blocks that can only be made using this are the Ecliptic Netherite Block and the Orb, to make the ecliptic netherite block you have to place a netherite block on top of that condensed beacon on the full netherite beacon, then there will be a random chance for that netherite block to turn to an ecliptic netherite block, if it doesn't the netherite block will be destroyed and if it does the condensed beacon will be destroyed. For the orb, it's a reinforced deepslate on top of the condensed beacon then there will be a random chance for that reinforced deepslate to turn to an orb, if it doesn't the reinforced deepslate will be destroyed and if it does the condensed beacon will be destroyed. The Condensed Beacon has to be updated first before it can function. So if there is already a netherite block or a reinforced deepslate on top of it, try placing a block next to it.

Vehemence server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Vehemence compatible with fabric?
Vehemence officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Vehemence – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Vehemence consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
