About this Mod

Simple Vein Miner (for NeoForge) is a mod-compatible, visually appealing take on vein mining.

A lot of other veinminer mods available for this version of NeoForge seemed to be lacking polish or certain important features, so I made this mod as a well-rounded and compatible alternative. I also included a couple of unique features that should make veinmining feel more fun and interesting.

Features

Keybind:
By default, holding [Left Shift] allows you to veinmine. Pressing [Right Shift] toggles veinmining until you press it again. These keys can be changed in the Controls menu.

Enchantment Support:
All enchantments, including modded ones, work with veinmining, so your Fortune, Unbreaking, and Silk touch don't go to waste.

Tool Survival:
Veinmining tries not to break your tool. For example, if your tool has 59 durability remaining, it will mine 58 blocks at most.

Drop Teleportation:
Resource drops and experience orbs from veinmined blocks are teleported to the first block you mined. (Configurable)

Default Blocks:
All logs, leaves, and ores (including modded ones) can be veinmined by default. (Configurable)

Commands:
The /veinminer command allows you to easily add and remove veinmineable blocks or block tags. This can also be done through the config.

Highlight:
Block clusters that can be veinmined will be highlighted when you hold the keybind. (Configurable)

Fun Stuff:
Rather than destroying all blocks instantly, veinmined regions will briefly collapse outward. (Configurable)

Veinmined blocks play their break sound with a higher pitch based on the distance from the first block.

There's a config option that allows all blocks to be veinmined.

That's all. Enjoy!

The image shows a very dark cave illuminated by only one torch in its center.
