Vent block mod

Update: this mod was specifically made to make vertical item transportation easy but since BTA 7.3 we now have an official way of doing exactly that using the new Reinforced Piston block!

A small minecraft BTA mod that adds a vent block for mob/item transportation.

Specifically made for Minecraft Better Than Adventure 7.1_01.

This new block can be used for lots of different contraptions and builds. The vent block propels entities upwards for a total of 8 blocks.

Sneak while walking above a vent block will result in you falling down again and ignoring fall damage!

How to Install Vent Block on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (b1.7.3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Vent Block". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Vent Block server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (b1.7.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Vent Block compatible with fabric?
