Void Vanguards

Void Vanguards is a sci-fi adventure mod made for the CurseForge 2025 ModJam. It throws the player into an ancient conflict between The Vanguard and The Voidborn, two opposing forces locked in a war that stretches across dimensions. You’ll follow an immersive questline with advanced species and cosmic magic. The story is uncovered piece by piece as you progress.

A mysterious sky ship has appeared in orbit, and strange signals are being detected across the world. Maybe you should take a closer look through your Spyglass. Make sure you're prepared, as this could trigger an event with great risk and great value.

Travel through portals to the custom Cosmos dimension, where the Vanguard Station and the Voidborn Asteroid await. Find enemies and loot along the way! Decide which of the two quest paths you'd like to take.

Compatible with multiplayer servers! Each player has their own questline and their own structures.
Note: There is currently a known issue with Sodium that renders the sky ship in front of other blocks. I wasn't able to fix this in time for the jam deadline.

The mod generates two structures inside the cosmos dimension. You'll get access to one of the two, depending on your choices, after the quest.

You may freely use this mod in any modpack, as long as the download remains hosted within the CurseForge or Modrinth ecosystem.
