Every hit on a living entity adds +1 Soul Charge (max 5), stored on the weapon itself. Charges persist between swings and are shown in the item tooltip. With each charge gained, soul flame particles burst around the target — a visual cue of building power.

2 — Void Eruption (active)

When you have 5 charges and attack while falling or airborne, the weapon detonates:
