About this Mod
This is a Standalone version of the Wandering Trader changes from Traveler's Wits
Currently has versions for 1.16 to 1.21, versions between 1.16 and 1.19 are NOT fully tested, so they may have issues with them, but the main functions should work
With it Wandering Traders will now buy items from you, and even sell Traveler's Maps that will lead you to several different structures!
Changes/Trades
It mayl buy from you, for 4 emeralds, the following items:
- Rotten Flesh, String, Bones, Bread, Baked Potatoes, Redstone, Coal, Gunpowder, Milk Bucket, Water Bucket, Spider Eyes
For 10 emeralds, it can give a Traveler's Map that may lead to the following Structures:
- Villages, Jungle Temples, Desert Temples, Witch Huts, Trail Ruins(1.20+), Igloos, Pillager Outposts
- The list goes from the most Common to most Rare
It also adds 2 Advancements for each trade type(buying Map or selling for Emeralds)

How to Install Wanderful Trades on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Wanderful Trades". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Wanderful Trades server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Wanderful Trades compatible with datapack and fabric and forge?
Wanderful Trades officially supports datapack, fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.21, 1.20.6, 1.20.5. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Wanderful Trades – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Wanderful Trades consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
