About this Mod

wandering traders trade for biome explorer maps!!!

this is a server-side mod which allows wandering traders to trade for maps that lead you to various overworld biomes.

WARNING: at the moment there is a MASSIVE lag spike upon opening the wandering trader's inventory as the biomes are located. you have been warned.

each biome map costs three emeralds and a compass. they can lead to any biome in the overworld—mountains, oceans, cave biomes—anything. its compatibility with worldgen datapacks and mods is unknown, but it should be compatible.

How to Install wandering explorers on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "wandering explorers". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
