Warper
Warper tool allows players to move certain amount further the way they're facing.
About this Mod
Warper mod by kaanbuu.
Mod contain 3 simple commands for its users:
/warper
Lets player get the Warper tool. The tool in hand used for teleporting player to the direction and orientation they're facing(where crosshair pointed). With the help of a simple raycasting algorithm.
- Use
Right Mouse Buttonto teleport 16 blocks(1 chunk). - Use
Shift+Right Mouse Buttonto teleport 64 blocks(4 chunks). - Can overwhelm client hardware depending on mods being used or resources allocated.
- Mod can also affect performance by simply existing(when being used). For normal teleportation requirements, minimap mods or
/tpcommands can be more useful.
/warper_help
Lets player to display help for the mod. It's actually more of a tip than help. Can be enhanced in latter versions.
/warper_two_point_oh
Lets player get the second Warper tool which have further more travel capabilites. JustRMB to travel 128 blocks(8 chunks) or Shift + RMB to travel 256 blocks(16 chunks).
- Even a NASA computer can have low performance with higher distances because, let's face it, Minecraft is not that much of an optimized videogame :/

Some questions(s) and answer(s).
Why this mod even created?
I created the mod for me to help my singleplayer world gameplay. When using mods like Worldedit or Axiom, when I need to select an area, I am using this tool instead of flying/walking to positions.
Can it also be used to travel to higher distances?
Mod doesn't offer any more than teleportation that is robust(Minimap mods or commands better for teleportation!). So every consecutive teleportation can bottleneck the chunk render mechanism and undermine the gaming experience. But if the hardware is enough to handle, maybe it can be used to travel further distances.
Compatability Problems?
I didn't got any issues when using fabric 1.21.10 client, atleast with these mods.
SPECIAL NOTE: This is not an original idea, the tools' concept is similar to famous Hypixel Skyblock servers' sword Aspect of the Void and its abilities like Instant Transmission and Ether Transmission.

Server lagging with Warper – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Warper consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
