About this Mod

Creates a lightweight web server that returns only the current player count, nothing else.

Default bind address: 0.0.0.0
Default port: 57475

For use with a watchdog service or other monitoring tools.

This is used by Jimmie's Minecraft OnDemand fork which provides more reliable monitoring than the original.

How to Install Watchpup on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Watchpup". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
