About this Mod

Welcome to WeaponCraft.
Minecraft... the game where a dirt house gives you +50 efficiency and a stone brick house +25 nostalgia.
Yet, crafting a sword takes no more than a few hand gestures and 0.5 seconds of your life. But for what?
WeaponCraft aims to fill that gap.
Currently in testing. Core logic is implemented.
I need your feedback. Go and craft your weapon!
Already implemented:
- Draw your perfect weapon on a blueprint with the voxel-based system
- Design with up to 3 blueprint layers for a single weapon
- Set the thickness of each layer separately
- Each voxel defines the final result (e.g. weight increases Damage but decreases Speed)
- 6 stats to influence: Damage/Speed, Knockback/Crit, Reach/Durability
- Each weapon is 100% unique: voxels will vary slightly in texture darkness
- Preview system: see the 3D preview model before creating it
Planned (Test phase 2):
Blacksmithing profession: gain experience as you craft to allow for larger blueprints with an impactful crafting process where you will smelt your ores, pour them into your mold, hammer away and reforge.
Higher level blacksmiths also have a chance to craft a "greater" or "perfect" weapon, further increasing its stats.
Ideas for later
Gemcrafting: craft gems (lapis, amethyst, etc) and socket them into your weapon post-forging for even more unique stat boosts and abilities.

WeaponCraft server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is WeaponCraft compatible with neoforge?
WeaponCraft officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with WeaponCraft – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if WeaponCraft consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
