What is Weather Effects Backport?

This mod backports the 1.21.6 raining effect to 1.20.1 with some additions!

The weather effect appears when it is raining, snowing, and if a thunder storm shows up, the rain fog will be more darker than the normal rain fog

The mod allows you to Enabled or Disabled the raining effect with the /weather_effect command!

Don't worry about compatibility — the weather effect works perfectly with Embeddium and other mods that change the way Minecraft renders things. The mod is compatible with them.

How to Install Weather effects Backport on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Weather effects Backport". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
