About this Mod

Weighted Inventory limits the amount of inventory spaces available to a player. Wearing armor will increase the number of available slots depending on the armor type. Different types of armor have different slot counts.

The amount of slots per armor piece can be changed using datapacks, By default the slots per armor type are as follows:

  • Leather - 2.25 slots (for a total of 9 slots)
  • Iron / Chainmail - 4.5 slots (for a total of 18 slots)
  • Gold / Diamond / Netherite - 6.75 slots (for a total of 27 slots)

How to Install Weighted Inventory on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Weighted Inventory". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
