About this Mod
Wescraft: Desire Paths is a mod from the Wescraft Project that add more realism to Minecraft by eroding the grass as you travel. Retracing your steps may create desire paths.
What are desire paths?
Desire paths are paths that are made artifically and unintentionally by stepping on foliage. Walking on grass blocks periodically erodes the top grass layer into coarse dirt. The interval in which the grass is eroded, as well as the erosion chances are configurable.
Manage your lawn!
Sometimes, grass can be essential for decorational purposes, you may not want to trample the ground. Wescraft: Desire Paths adds a new enchantment called Soft Step, disabling erosion when wearing the enchantment on boots.
Plans to expand the mod:
- Add more steps of erosion
- Make more block "erodable"
- Modify the new block textures

How to Install Wescraft: Desire Paths on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Wescraft: Desire Paths". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
