Whisper from Dark is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Fabric) that completely redefines the concept of survival. The mod focuses heavily on auditory terror, absolute stealth, and an inescapable, invisible threat.

Here, the world ceases to be peaceful the moment the sun dips below the horizon. Any careless step, a broken block, or an opened chest could be your very last action.

THE MAIN THREAT: THE WHISPERER

This entity has no physical body; it is impossible to see under normal light.

Blind Void

It is completely invisible. The only things betraying its presence are swirling clouds of black ash and a pair of slowly glowing white eyes silently floating in the dark.

Intelligent Stalking

The mob utilizes an advanced AI state machine with three distinct behaviors:

Stalk

It slowly and silently creeps behind you, maintaining suspense. You will hear its eerie, three-dimensional footsteps (steps-monster) creeping closer thanks to binaural sound positioning.

Investigate

It instantly reacts to any noise emitted by the player and moves to investigate the source.
Chase: If you sprint near it or get too close, a bone-chilling detection scream (detected-player) will echo, blinding and weakening you as the monster enters a high-speed furious pursuit.
