Whistle Mount
Ever wished your trusty steed could answer your call from anywhere? With the Whistle mod, bond with a horse and call it instantly with a single keystroke—no ridiculous item requirements cluttering your inventory, no tedious searching, just you and your loyal companion.
How It Works
Bonding Your Horse
Find a horse and make it truly yours:
- Tame any horse
- Crouch + Right Click to forge a bond (only one horse at a time, bonding a new horse will release the old one)
Calling Your Companion
- Press Q (configurable via In-game settings) to whistle and your bonded horse will instantly reposition to your side
Note: Cross-dimension summoning isn't available yet, but I will work on this feature and put it into configurations

How to Install Whistle Mount on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Whistle Mount". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Whistle Mount server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Whistle Mount compatible with forge and neoforge?
Whistle Mount officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Whistle Mount – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Whistle Mount consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
