A magic mod about trying not to freeze!
About this Mod
This mod currently doesn't add much, however it adds two main items, both of which are connected to a mana system I am planning to expand.

To get the first item, Hoarfrost, you need to surround a netherite ingot with blue ice to get frozen ingots.
Two of these frozen ingots can be combined with a diamond sword using it like a handle in a normal sword recipe to get you the Hoarfrost.
The second item, hand warmers, can be made by combining two paper with blaze powder in a sandwich.

I recommend also using JEI, especially if you are confused about anything, as there is built-in integration.

How to Install Wintry Armaments on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Wintry Armaments". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Wintry Armaments server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Wintry Armaments compatible with forge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Wintry Armaments consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
