About this Mod
Overview
This mod adds a single item to the game: the XP talisman. It is crafted by a diamond and an ender pearl. right clicking with this item removes your xp and drops an item for each 25 xp.
Configurable options
- You can change the amount of xp required per item drop in the config file.
- You can change the amount of items per x xp
- When setting the amount of needed xp to 0, the "level mode" is active, meaning you get items for each level, instead of points.
- Normal loot tables (block drops, mob loot, chests) can be disabled

How to Install XP 2 items on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "XP 2 items". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

XP 2 items server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is XP 2 items compatible with forge?
XP 2 items officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with XP 2 items – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if XP 2 items consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
