About this Mod

ziro-lib

A collection of utilities primarily for my own use - Because I don't like copy pasta (I only like normal pasta).

For Users

This is a library mod used by some of my mods. If none of my mods depend on it, you do not need to install
it (and can remove it if you have it).

For Developers

This library exists for my own projects, so I generally will not add features unless I need them across multiple mods.

If you are looking for a more general-purpose utility library, I recommend checking out something
like owo-lib or Collective, because
this is not intended to be that.

Performance

There is currently no single entrypoint, so nothing is loaded or registered by default. Utilities are only used when
they are called directly by another project.

Frequently Asked Questions

ziro-lib server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is ziro-lib compatible with fabric?

ziro-lib officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with ziro-lib – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ziro-lib consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
