Adds 6 expensive harddrive components and recipe
Description
For players who have discovered the map multiple times.<br>
Instead of looking for all the hard drives again (or cheating them in), this mod adds a new production chain for hard drives<br><br>
This mods adds 4 new hard drive components, 3 new intermediates and a recipe for the hard drive, all of which are expensive.<br>
All new items can be made from tier 1 if you have the resources.<br><br>

Spindle
Actuator
Actuator Arm

Platterstack
Actuator Assembly

Hard drive recipe only available in the workbench, everything els is automatable.<br>
Research is unlocked in the new MAM tree.

How to Install Expensive Hard Drives on Your Server
Order Satisfactory Server
Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.
Install Mod
Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "Expensive Hard Drives". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.
Restart Server
Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.
Frequently Asked Questions
Expensive Hard Drives not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Expensive Hard Drives has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Expensive Hard Drives causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Expensive Hard Drives v0.0.7 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Expensive Hard Drives compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
