Description:

Syncs your online games to a cloud server so they can be played when you aren't hosting them.
<BR><BR>

How It Works:

Whenever you are hosting a "friends only" game and you save. The save is uploaded to a cloud server.
When your friends want to play, they can use the MPSync menu to find your cloud save, download it and host it themselves.
<BR><BR>

Help:

There is a help button in the in-game MPSync menu. This has many FAQ answers. Should you need further assistance you can
join the [Satisfactory Modding Discord Channel](https://discord.gg/xkVJ73E) and ask there. Either myself or someone there will be happy to help.

Data Security:

All data that is sent to the remote server is sent via SSL and requires a valid authorization code to be passed.

Only 2 files for each save is stored on the remote server. There is data about the save which looks like as follows;

and of course the actual save file.<BR>
Once the data and save reaches the remote server, they are immediately salted and encrypted with a sha256 hash and become an unreadable string of characters.

How to Install MPSync on Your Server

Order Satisfactory Server

Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.

Install Mod

Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "MPSync". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.

Restart Server

Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

MPSync not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether MPSync has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

MPSync causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use MPSync v3.0.7 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is MPSync compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

MPSync uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
