Description

Disables the grainy post-processing visuals that appear when you are exposed to radiation.
By default, this is only done when you have radiation protection gear equipped and functioning.
You can change the mod configuration to disable the effect all the time instead.

This mod can be run client side only in multiplayer.
Server versions are published for convenience and currently do nothing.

In multiplayer, the visuals are always disabled (ignoring your config setting)
because the codepath to make it update instantly is not available while also keeping the mod client-side only.

Note that the base-game gives you damage invulnerability after joining a game for a short time.
In singleplayer, if you log in to an irradiated area,
the visuals will not be disabled until that invulnerability expires.
You can tell when this period runs out by when your hazmat suit actually starts consuming filters.
If you don't like this, change the mod config to always hide the visuals, which works around this.

Frequently Asked Questions

No Grainy Radiation Visuals not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether No Grainy Radiation Visuals has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

No Grainy Radiation Visuals causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Is No Grainy Radiation Visuals compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

No Grainy Radiation Visuals uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
