Overdrive Manufacturing SF+
Enhances Satisfactory Plus with 200+ "insane" recipes, creating a waste challenge for a fresh gaming experience.
Description
The Overdrive Manufacturing mod for Satisfactory Plus is an ambitious addition that brings more than 200 recipes to the game, providing an intense and challenging manufacturing experience. The main concept of the mod is to introduce new recipes prefixed with "Insane," which are exaggerated variations of the game's standard recipes.
Mod Operation:
1. Duplication and Prefixing:
- The mod duplicates existing recipes in the game, adding the "Insane" prefix to each of them and grouping these recipes under the name "Insane Items" on each machine.
- Example: The standard recipe for "Iron Wire" becomes "Insane Iron Wire."
2. Quantity of Products:
- Each new recipe adjusts the quantity of manufactured products to be 100 times greater than the original recipes.
- For instance, "Insane Iron Wire" produces 100 Iron Wires using only 1 ingredient.
3. Trash Generation:
- The significant increase in product production results in a massive generation of trash.
- This excess of trash creates challenges for players to manage and solve, as machines may become overloaded.
Specific Changes:
- Number of Recipes: More than 200 new recipes have been added to the game, providing a significant variety of manufacturing challenges.
- Integration into Tutorial, Milestones, and MAM:
- The mod seamlessly integrates into the game, incorporating new recipes into tutorial phases, milestones, and Molecular Analysis Machine (MAM) analyses.
- This means players will encounter Insane recipes from the beginning and have to deal with the challenges posed by them at every stage of the game.
- Multiple Versions in MAM:
- Recipes added in MAM may appear duplicated, but this is intentional. One version corresponds to the standard game recipe, while the other represents the Insane version of Overdrive Manufacturing.
Compatibility and Testing:
- ContentLib:
- The mod was developed using ContentLib to create recipes, but schemas and categories were created in the Unreal Editor.
- Although ContentLib is listed as a mod that may be incompatible with Satisfactory Plus, I have conducted comprehensive tests to ensure that all recipes function normally.
This mod offers a unique and challenging experience to the Satisfactory Plus mod, encouraging players to manage the substantial increase in production efficiently and deal with the consequences of this intensified process.
