Quantum Energy Rebalance

This mod aims towards rebalancing recipes and energy values related to Tier 9 power sources - Ficsonium and Ionized fuel.

My understanding behind Coffee Stain's balancing

From what I have observed, both of these power supplies are not designed for a net-positive energy gain. Fisconium exists to get rid of plutonium waste and inflate a total energy production value to boost value of Alien Power Augmenters. As for Ionized fuel it the most superior fuel for jetpacks and transportation - drones speed increases by 20% compared to rocket fuel.

The problem: While I see obvious benefits of using these resources in their possible intended way, the resources you need for both of those to fully execute them are overwhelming. While recipe for synthetic power shards is alright, the amount of them one needs to convert 1200 units of Rocket fuel (For 600 packaged ionized fuel to fuel a good drone network) is ridiculous. As strange as Dark-Ion fuel that seems to just be a typo. The same goes for Ficsonium - recycling 75 Plutonium Waste will quickly deplete your SAM reserves. And since Ficsonium Fuel Rods production is net negative that also forces pioneers to simply sink Plutonium Fuel Rods as Uranium energy is already sufficient to satisfy average player's need of ~100k MW of energy to make it through phase 5.

Each of the recipes is unlocked simultaniously with their original counterparts

Ficsonium Fuel Rod enegry value has been increased by 250% (from 150000 MJ to 375000 MJ) to be more appealing to pioneers

6. Ficsonium Fuel Rods are now sinkable (~314000 points)

Trivia

1. I know that consumption of 50 units of Rocket fuel makes it impossible to achieve 100% production efficiency without extra mods, but IMO that is the most reasonable amount of rocket fuel per one shard.
2. Dark-Ion Fuel recipe being utilized by refinery instead of converter is intentional to make transition to it much smoother.

[Heavy Fluid Overhaul](https://ficsit.app/mod/HeavyFluids): Though it's not mandatory, if you want to get 100% efficiency from original Ionized Fuel recipe this mod is a must.

[Waste Shielding](https://ficsit.app/mod/WasteShielding) and [Waste Shielding Plus](https://ficsit.app/mod/WasteShieldingPlus) (addon): This mod had the most significant impact on these balancing changes, you may an interesting synergy between these two mods!

[EasyAlt Recipes](https://ficsit.app/mod/EasyAltRecipes): While not having direct impact on the mod some balancing changes have been decided while looking at this mod.

How to Install Quantum Energy Rebalance on Your Server

Order Satisfactory Server

Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.

Install Mod

Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "Quantum Energy Rebalance". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.

Restart Server

Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quantum Energy Rebalance not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Quantum Energy Rebalance has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

Quantum Energy Rebalance causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Quantum Energy Rebalance v1.2.5 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is Quantum Energy Rebalance compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

Quantum Energy Rebalance uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
