Slugs! That are all colours of the rainbow! Build them as decor or craft them at a workbench or in constructors to send them down conveyors or just have hanging around.

This fun Tier 2 unlock was made by request while we all work on big mod updates for 1.1, and we hope it makes y'all as happy to have these rainbow guys around as it made us to make them!

May be updated in the future with more rainbow decor and slug themed decor, and possibly a secret third thing.

All craftable slugs cost 1 power shard and give 1 power shard back in return. While the slugs can be constructed in both constructors or crafted at workbenches the shards they provide can only be crafted at workbenches.

All buildable (decor) slugs cost no shards, and are thus able to be used as liberally as the pioneer desires.

How to Install Rainbow Slugs on Your Server

Order Satisfactory Server

Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.

Install Mod

Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "Rainbow Slugs". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.

Restart Server

Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rainbow Slugs not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Rainbow Slugs has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

Rainbow Slugs causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Rainbow Slugs v1.1.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is Rainbow Slugs compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

Rainbow Slugs uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
