Description

Fly freely in Satisfactory 1.2 — without disabling your achievements.

The built-in creative fly turns achievements off, and the old console `fly` command stopped
working in 1.2. SimpleFly gives you achievement-safe free flight that works in multiplayer.

Controls

- G — toggle fly on/off (or use the `/fly` chat command)
- Double-tap Space — quick-start flying, on the ground or mid-air. Great as a clutch save:
catch yourself before you hit the ground and skip the fall damage.
- Space / C — ascend / descend
- Mouse wheel — change fly speed on the fly. Works best with empty hands or a single tool
equipped, since the wheel otherwise cycles your hotbar.

Features

- Achievement-safe — fly without losing achievements
- Full multiplayer support — Windows dedicated servers + Steam, server-authoritative so it
stays in sync across everyone
- Smooth ground handling — touching the ground won't drop you out of flight; only your
keybind or `/fly` ends it, so you can skim and glide freely

Notes

- Linux dedicated servers aren't supported yet
- The server and every player need SimpleFly installed (matching versions)

Frequently Asked Questions

SimpleFly not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether SimpleFly has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

SimpleFly causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use SimpleFly v1.2.1 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is SimpleFly compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

SimpleFly uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
