What is this mod?

It simply makes Space Elevator also work as AWESOME Sink. Upon unlocking Resource Sink Bonus Program milestone, your Space Elevator will unlock a new functionality - it will sink any sinkable input which doesn't contribute to accomplishing Project Assembly (so, items not included in Elevator Phase requirements and exceeding Space Elevator parts). Obvious benefits are:
- Since Space Elevator doesn't require power, you can always use it as a sink. Don't waste those sacred 30 MW when every watt counts.
- Utilize all 6 of its input connections, allowing you to sink up to 6000 items per minute!
- You won't need to rewire conveyors in order to sink Space Elevator parts since any part overflow gets sunk.

Compatibility

I didn't do any proper multiplayer tests, however I don't think I did anything I haven't done before while modding. No multiplayer issues should occur. It also shouldn't cause any kind of troubles with other mods as well.

How to Install Space Elevator Resource Sink on Your Server

Order Satisfactory Server

Order a Satisfactory server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended). For multiplayer: per 4 players.

Install Mod

Open the mod manager in the dashboard and search for "Space Elevator Resource Sink". Installation dependencies are installed automatically.

Restart Server

Restart the server so the mod is loaded. Players need to have the mod installed locally as well.

Space Elevator Resource Sink not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Space Elevator Resource Sink has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

Space Elevator Resource Sink causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Space Elevator Resource Sink v1.0.1 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is Space Elevator Resource Sink compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

Space Elevator Resource Sink uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
