Sticky Resource Markers
Resource markers on the compass and map are permanent and filterable via the map UI
Description
Sticky Resource Markers fixes your pioneer's resource amnesia. After you scan a resource node, your character will always remember where it is and you can show/hide each individual resource type on your map and/or HUD's compass via the map UI. It's multiplayer compatible and will save your filter settings in each world.
A quick demonstration: https://youtu.be/uLTdlTYAesU
Resources types are individually filterable and there are Hide All/Show All buttons in the map menu:

By default, resources will unhide on the compass when you scan for them. You can control this and other behavior (including compass view distance) under the Mods section of the Main Menu:

Note:
* The mod also works with resources scanned by radar towers, even after you disassemble the radar tower.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sticky Resource Markers not working after update β what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Sticky Resource Markers has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Sticky Resource Markers causing crashes in multiplayer β solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Sticky Resource Markers v0.4.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Sticky Resource Markers compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Sticky Resource Markers uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
