Archipelago Additions Modpack

Summary

AA is an expansion for the Isle of Berk mod which adds many additional dragons. This is facilitated by Nord_Act's Isle of Berk Variant Loader, which allows us to add remodelled variants of existing dragons without replacing those which are already present. This means, however, that abilities may be mismatched.

Details

The AA modpack contains the following:

• The AA datapack and resource pack (datapack will need importing on a per-world basis, see the installation process page on our wiki if you are unclear on this step) OR the AA mod, depending on version
• The AA configs
• The required mods for AA
• The following additional mods:
• • Shaders (AA includes semi-transparent glowing textures, which render incorrectly without shaders)
• • Optimisation mods (to counteract the frame rate reduction of shaders)
• • JEI (AA modifies crafting recipes)
• • Inferno's IoB addon (to extend the HTTYD experience)

AA is a project made by LuckiestLycan, Mqzikeen, SakuraBabochka, Gecko_sauce, DragonTamer, and Blue. It contains assets by Ness, Immersed, VLS, Chrys and Will (of the NBD (New Berk's Dawn) team), and MazingA, GrayDoesn'tExist, Roar, and SomeGuy (of the NBD community). Our license is and shall remain ARR, to protect these assets of which we have use and distribution permissions but not ownership. Most dragon models use IoB models as a base due to hardcoded rigging dependencies making it impractical to scratch model. AA does not claim to have made these models, they were created by the IoB team and now belong to NBD. We are permitted use of these IoB base assets provided we remain as an addon to IoB and/or NBD and do not claim to have made them.
These credits may change as necessary. They will always be correct to the most recent release of this modpack.
