Better Journeys

A Vanilla+ Modpack by denissuu, focused on adding beauty, nature and exploration to the vanilla experience, adding more options for building and systems. Most mods fit the vanilla theme of Minecraft that Mojang is going with, nothing too flashy.

Things that you'll find in the latest version:

• Ambient sounds, a lot of passive mobs, together with Tectonic, Terralith and William Wyther's Overhauled Overworld and more world generation mods provide an exciting world to explore with new biomes at every step!
• Vanilla-like options for the players that like tech with Create Mod and systems. It's aesthetic still feels pretty vanilla compared to other tech mods.
• Lots of extra plants and flowers to make your world prettier with Farmer's Delight, and more.
• Lots of extra building options thanks to a bunch of furniture mods like Macaw's suite.
• Extreme variety of animals and crops to breed and grow.
• Added structures, bridges, enhanced villages and other great additions to give you more reasons to explore.
• Very little tech, and pretty much no extra magic so you truly feel the "Enhanced Vanilla" vibes.
• The collection of mods inside this pack is very refined, I play it myself and it was held to high standards. No extra things just for the sake of it.
• Great performance out of the box, as the pack comes with every optimisation mod that you can think of, Iris Shaders, and optifine feature parity.
• A lot of Quality of Life improvements, that really enhance the experience ( 3D Skin Layers, Falling Leaves, Blurred Menu Backgrounds, Better F3, Inventory Sorter and more )
• Mob Vote submissions that didn't make it are making a comeback in this mod, with the help of the Friends & Foes mod!
• MacOS friendly mods and default settings, as I play it on a Macbook with Apple Silicon most of the time. Windows works flawlessly too!

System Requirements

I recommend at least 4GB's of RAM in order to play this pretty smoothly, more is better of course. Same goes for the server. The best would be 5-6GB's of RAM for a silky smooth experience.

Tip: For the 1.20.1 Modpack Version, we got World Host inside so you can fire up a server right from your singeplayer world! (I'll also add a server pack if you're more into that soon!)
