Transportcraft Next Generation is a next-gen spiritual successor to The Society - Transportcraft (Curseforge) that aims to be a bit more lightweight.

The aim of the modpack is to focus on transportation and tech. There aren't many config changes from out of the default as it's mostly used on private server.

Modpack is heavily based upon Create mod and mods that work well around it, but still keeping the original theme of transportation.

• Iris - if you want to use shaders, also make sure to install following to allow shaders and Create backend to work together
  • Iris & Oculus Flywheel Compat- This doesn't seem to work properly, instead use the following:
  • Colorwheel
  • Colorwheel Patcher

Important notes

Survival system

There are survival elements in the game like thirst, temperature etc, read more at Legendary Survival Overhaul and Spice of Life Onion. To add even more challenge Serene Seasons has also been included.

Storage systems

Modpack is aimed at using Create so it's geared towards using it's storage systems (vaults, frogs & packages). We have however added Sophisticated Storage that adds drawers like functionality but integrates well with Sophisticated Backpacks.

Econonmy

For our server economy we use Create: Numismatics mod to implement currency and banking system. You can have your own bank account and you can create group/business bank accounts. Villager trading has been configured to use the new currency system also as much as possible.

Transporation

Elytras are disabled. To move around we prefer you create rail networks. We have also added Trotting Wagons & AstikorCarts Redux. For now the boating needs can be done using Small Ships. Next to Create trains - Create Aeronautics](https://modrinth.com/mod/create-aeronautics) is the mod to give us ability to build any kind of vehicles in the modpack.

We have also added Create Jetpack with curious compatibility.

Electricity

The main mod for creating electric networks is Create: The Factory Must Grow. You can find one of the recent tutorials here:

Finding stuff

Both Nature's Compass & Explorer's Compass are available to aid you in searching stuff.

Distant horizons is included by default

If it causes lag on your computer you can tweak it's setting by setting the quality lower (to use less GPU) and tell to use less CPU.

Chunkloading

For mob spawning needs we have added Scarecrows' Territory and for regular chunk loading we have Chunk Loaders - please be civilised when using them.

Recipes

Make sure to check recipes before you craft something as there are few removals, adjustments & additions in the modpack.

Other

FallingTree is again included, meaning if you don't hold shift while using axe, entire trees will be felled - be careful when destroying tree blocks on your houses using axe. Building Wands is also in the modpack to aid you in building. Create's Schematics cannons have been sped up also.
