Aether: Basic Ores is a fanmade add-on for The Aether. It adds overworld ore variants to the Aether dimension.

The main purpose of this mod is to add the ability to craft most items (including those from other mods) without leaving Aether, and to make each travel here more fun and rewarding. It's also lore-friendly: existance of these ores make it less weird for overworld metal things (rings, pendants, gloves, etc) to exist in Aether dungeon chests.

☁️ Features

The only and main addition is the holystone ores (just like vanilla deepslate ores, but Aether-themed). Those include Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Lapis & Redstone. They all generate within the Aether dimension from Y=0 to Y=120, forming small deposits in holystone here and there. You can mine them using the same pickaxes that are suitable for their vanilla counterparts.

This mod is made with the anticipation of playing on modpacks. It has built-in support for Create (crushing new ores sometimes produce holystone). It's also automatically compatible with most existing mods, including various industrial and tech mods & their processing machines. Here's a list of mods I'm sure are well-compatible:

It's highly recommended to install this mod if you play Farmer's Delight with Aether Delight.
(Trust me, it's better to mine holystone iron ore than to melt down a lot of rings and pendants for iron nuggets, to just make a Cooking Pot).
