Block Swap is a simple mod that let's you replace one block with another. This works both during world gen and placing blocks in a live generated world.
Why would I want this?
Imagine this: You've installed 25 technology mods and you have 10 tin ores, 14 copper ores, 4 uranium ores, 10 lead ores, and 15 silver ores. Or maybe.... you've installed Oh The Biomes You'll Go and Biomes O' Plenty and don't like the fact that both mods add Redwood Logs.
Painful right? Now imagine a mod that let's you make these duplicate block a single block... yup you've just found it!
This mod allows you to replace Block A with Block B in its config and that's it.
But what about Block State properties?
This mod will remap the Block State properties from Block A's Block State to Block B's Block State(if the property is present).
Performance? Is this slow?
In my own profiling, it has NO performance hit.

Server bestellen
Bestelle einen Minecraft Java Server mit mindestens 4 GB RAM (6 GB empfohlen).
fabric Loader setzen
Wähle im Panel unter "Egg" den fabric-Loader und die passende Minecraft-Version (1.20.1).
Mod installieren
Öffne den Mod-Browser im Dashboard und suche nach "Block Swap". Klicke "Installieren" – fertig! Alternativ: Lade die .jar via SFTP in den /mods Ordner.

Block Swap Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
Häufigste Ursache: falsche fabric-Version oder zu wenig RAM. Prüfe im Server-Log (latest.log), ob ein "OutOfMemoryError" oder "Mixin"-Fehler auftritt. Bei Mado Hosting: Stelle sicher, dass mindestens 4 GB RAM zugewiesen sind und der Loader zur Mod-Version passt (1.20.1). Über das Panel kannst du den Loader mit einem Klick wechseln.
Ist Block Swap mit fabric und forge kompatibel?
Block Swap unterstützt offiziell fabric, forge für Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.4, 1.19.3. Achtung: Forge- und Fabric-Mods sind NICHT untereinander kompatibel – wähle einen Loader und bleibe dabei. Im Mado Dashboard werden inkompatible Loader-Kombinationen automatisch erkannt.
Server laggt mit Block Swap – wie optimiere ich die Performance?
Empfohlener RAM: 6 GB (+1 GB pro 5 Spieler). Prüfe mit /spark profiler, ob Block Swap den meisten Tick-Time verbraucht. Häufige Fixes: Server-View-Distance auf 8-10 reduzieren, bei Forge "performant" oder "starlight" als Zusatz-Mod installieren. Bei Mado Hosting läuft dein Server auf NVMe-SSDs mit dedizierten CPU-Kernen für minimale Latenz.
