How it works

This simple data pack is a compatibility addon between Create: Deco and several other mods like Create: Crafts Additions or Create: Dreams & Desires. And this without any new recipes or anything like that! Instead, it just changes the tags of Create: Deco (for example, in JEI or REI you can search for "$createdeco:internal/plates/zinc" to see all the zinc plates registered in Create: Deco) to the official ones, "#forge:plates/zinc" or "#c:zinc_sheets", depending on your modloader. This has several advantages.

Why I did this

To yet, Create Deco uses its own tag system ("#createdeco:internal/..."). This means that only items in Create Deco's tag can be used for several recipes. And no mod on earth will start tags only for Create Deco! (understandable)

For example this caused a problem with Create Crafts & Additions: Both Create Deco and Create Crafts Additions added a zinc sheet and a fitting recipe (pressing). If you put an zinc ingot under a press, the system had to decide whether the ingot should turn into a Create Deco or Create Crafts Additions zinc sheet. It always chose the same. So some items from some of the mods became unobtainable.

With this data pack, you can craft with both zinc sheets items from both mods.

By the way, I also fixed the github issue #124.

Feel free to use this in any modpack you want, but as soon as a new version of Create Deco comes out with these features, I'll remove this datapack. Stay up to date!

Create Deco Additions auf dem Server installieren

Server bestellen

Bestelle einen Minecraft Java Server mit mindestens 4 GB RAM (6 GB empfohlen).

datapack Loader setzen

Wähle im Panel unter "Egg" den datapack-Loader und die passende Minecraft-Version (1.20.1).

Mod installieren

Öffne den Mod-Browser im Dashboard und suche nach "Create Deco Additions". Klicke "Installieren" – fertig! Alternativ: Lade die .jar via SFTP in den /mods Ordner.

Create Deco Additions Server crasht beim Start – was tun?

Häufigste Ursache: falsche datapack-Version oder zu wenig RAM. Prüfe im Server-Log (latest.log), ob ein "OutOfMemoryError" oder "Mixin"-Fehler auftritt. Bei Mado Hosting: Stelle sicher, dass mindestens 4 GB RAM zugewiesen sind und der Loader zur Mod-Version passt (1.20.1). Über das Panel kannst du den Loader mit einem Klick wechseln.

Ist Create Deco Additions mit datapack und fabric und forge kompatibel?

Create Deco Additions unterstützt offiziell datapack, fabric, forge für Minecraft 1.20.1. Achtung: Forge- und Fabric-Mods sind NICHT untereinander kompatibel – wähle einen Loader und bleibe dabei. Im Mado Dashboard werden inkompatible Loader-Kombinationen automatisch erkannt.

Server laggt mit Create Deco Additions – wie optimiere ich die Performance?

Empfohlener RAM: 6 GB (+1 GB pro 5 Spieler). Prüfe mit /spark profiler, ob Create Deco Additions den meisten Tick-Time verbraucht. Häufige Fixes: Server-View-Distance auf 8-10 reduzieren, bei Forge "performant" oder "starlight" als Zusatz-Mod installieren. Bei Mado Hosting läuft dein Server auf NVMe-SSDs mit dedizierten CPU-Kernen für minimale Latenz.
