What It Does

By default, Minecraft waits for server confirmation before registering bow and crossbow shots. On 100ms+ ping, this causes visible release lag, animation desync, and sluggish item switching.

G1axBowOptimizer processes draw and release progress locally, eliminating input latency so shooting feels immediate on any ping.

• Instant Release — Arrows and bolts fire immediately when you release right-click.
• No Animation Desync — Bow model relaxes instantly without staying drawn too long.
• Fast Item Switching — Switch hotbar items immediately after firing without delay.
• Consistent Rapid Fire — Spam shooting feels predictable on 10ms or 200ms ping.
• Vanilla Server Safe — 100% client-side. The server still handles damage and arrow physics authoritatively.

How It Works

G1axBowOptimizer uses Fabric Mixins to:

1. Track draw/charge progress locally via ClientPlayerEntity tick events.
2. Hook into BowItem and CrossbowItem to register release input without waiting for network round-trips.
3. Suppress redundant desync packets in ClientPlayNetworkHandler.

Quick Install

1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.11.
2. Install Fabric API.
3. Place g1ax-bow-optimizer-1.0.0.jar into your .minecraft/mods directory.
4. Join any server and shoot. No configuration needed.
