High-Speed Rail
- Do you think Ice Boats are ridiculous?
- Do you wish minecarts were a viable form of transportation?
- Do you want to push the new minecart physics to absurd limits?
Then this is the mod for you!

New Features! (as of version 0.12.0+1.21.3)
- Support has been added for the new experimental minecart physics.
- You can break the 1000 block-per-second limit on the
minecartMaxSpeedgamerule! - You can change acceleration and deceleration rates as well.
- Minecart behaviors can be set on a per-block basis.
- Building your tracks on diamond blocks? Go 25k bps!
- Force new minecart physics to be enabled in old worlds.
- Accurate speedometer with physics model at any speed.
Features
- Fast Minecarts. Why settle for 8 blocks-per-second? Go 40, 50, 60 bps or more!
- or enable the new Minecart physics and go thousands of blocks-per-second
- Fully customizable. Configure different speed boosts for different blocks.
- No derailing. Minecarts automatically reduce to normal speed on curves.
- Serverside-only. Clients do not need to install the mod.
- Vanilla-friendly. Does not add new blocks to your world.
- Optional minecart speedometer
- Optional nerf for ice boats (boats on ice move the same as on land)
Notes
- The speedometer and ice boat nerf can be turned off in the config file.
- I will not be doing a Forge port of High-Speed Rail.
Notes (for old minecart physics only)
- The speed-up does not work on any curved tracks, including 'diagonal' sections.
- Top speed is increased but not acceleration. Use more powered rails to go faster.
- Speed is capped at 78 blocks-per-minute.
Credits
- High-Speed Rail was inspired by this Reddit post
- And also Gravel Carts which is great mod that implements the same idea a bit differently
- Idea for disabling ice boats borrowed from Ice Boat Nerf
- Idea for speedometer borrowed from Speedometer

High-Speed Rail Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
