LazyChunks
A Fabric client-side mod that reduces chunk loading stutters by dynamically spreading chunk processing across multiple frames based on your current FPS.
What It Does
LazyChunks monitors your real-time FPS and limits how much chunk work is processed each frame.
When FPS drops below a configurable threshold, chunk loading is slowed down instead of causing sudden frame drops.
When FPS is high, chunks load faster to keep the world responsive.
This results in smoother gameplay, especially during fast movement, elytra flight, or exploration.
Configuration
Config file is created at .minecraft/config/lazy_chunks.json on first launch.

Muss Lazy Chunks auf dem Minecraft Server installiert werden?
Nein. Modrinth kennzeichnet Lazy Chunks serverseitig als nicht unterstützt. Installiere die Mod nur im lokalen Minecraft-Mods-Ordner. Dein Server kann unverändert bleiben, sofern die Mod-Seite keine zusätzliche Abhängigkeit nennt.
Welche Version und welchen Loader braucht Lazy Chunks?
Nutze eine Datei für fabric und exakt deine Minecraft-Version. Unterstützte Versionen sind unter anderem 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2. Loader-Dateien sind nicht untereinander austauschbar.
Lazy Chunks funktioniert nicht – was kann ich prüfen?
Prüfe zuerst Minecraft-Version, Loader-Version und erforderliche Abhängigkeiten. Lege die .jar-Datei im lokalen .minecraft/mods-Ordner ab und entferne ältere Duplikate. Da die Mod clientseitig ist, löst mehr Server-RAM dieses Problem nicht.
