This datapack creates a wave around the enemy you hurt when performing a smash attack, it doesn't apply more damage or something like that.
❓ FAQ
Q: Why can I go through the ground?
A: Well, in an ideal world you wouldn't be able to. I wanted this datapack to be as efficient as possible and if I wanted to make so you couldn't go through the ground I would need to simulate gravity using block displays and that will be less efficient and more time consuming. I know this sounds lame as this is a "bug", but don't worry, I will come back and "fix" it someday, but for now I'm working on more important projects that deserve most of my time and this datapack was ment to be a quick side project, nothing too complex, so we will need to wait a bit until I update it. It will happen, but not now.
Q: Does it have multiplayer compatibility?
A: Yes it does.
Q: Does this datapack work on older/newer versions?
A: This datapack doens't work on older versions than 1.21 (simply because the mace wasn't added yet). If for whatever reason you want to use it in a newer version and the official update hasn't happened just download the lastest version and change inside the pack.mcmeta of the datapack the "pack_format" value to the desired one (it may not work or at least not as intended).
Q: Can I modify the datapack and redistribute it?
A: Yes you can, but only if you say who the original creator is (Eclipse Studios) and if you link the original Modrinth page somewhere noticeable in the project.

A: Yes it is. This datapack follows the Smithed conventions to ensure datapack compatibility.
🗑️ Uninstall
To uninstall the datapack run /function mace:unistall before removing it from the datapacks folder, that will remove all scoreboards and more stuff that the datapack uses.

datapack Loader setzen

Better Mace Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
Häufigste Ursache: falsche datapack-Version oder zu wenig RAM. Prüfe im Server-Log (latest.log), ob ein "OutOfMemoryError" oder "Mixin"-Fehler auftritt. Bei Mado Hosting: Stelle sicher, dass mindestens 3 GB RAM zugewiesen sind und der Loader zur Mod-Version passt (26.2). Über das Panel kannst du den Loader mit einem Klick wechseln.
Ist Better Mace mit datapack und fabric und forge und neoforge und quilt kompatibel?
Better Mace unterstützt offiziell datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt für Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Achtung: Forge- und Fabric-Mods sind NICHT untereinander kompatibel – wähle einen Loader und bleibe dabei. Im Mado Dashboard werden inkompatible Loader-Kombinationen automatisch erkannt.
Server laggt mit Better Mace – wie optimiere ich die Performance?
Empfohlener RAM: 4 GB (+1 GB pro 8 Spieler). Prüfe mit /spark profiler, ob Better Mace den meisten Tick-Time verbraucht. Häufige Fixes: Server-View-Distance auf 8-10 reduzieren, bei Forge "performant" oder "starlight" als Zusatz-Mod installieren. Bei Mado Hosting läuft dein Server auf NVMe-SSDs mit dedizierten CPU-Kernen für minimale Latenz.
