Über diese Mod

Welcome to Power Grid!
This is a mod built around realistic electricity based on real physics.
Everything in Power Grid is designed to encourage creativity while introducing new challenges and obstacles. In the end you will be the proud owner of a world-wide power generation and distribution network - one that hopefully doesn't collapse after you flip that one unmarked switch…
Beginner Friendly
If you don't know much about electricity in real life, we got you! Our ponder menus are intuitive and easy to understand, allowing you to spend less time learning and more time having fun and getting your hands dirty! If you still have trouble, join our discord!
Balance is key
In this mod you have to balance your production and demand to keep the voltage steady. If you don't, you risk damaging your equipment and things surrounding it.
Not like the other mods
Electricity in this mod is simulated using Network Analysis and real laws of physics.
Things like Ohm's Law and the Junction Rule are all things you'll be able to use to your advantage when building up your grid. Circuits have to form loops for current to flow. Higher voltage allows you to move more power with less losses.
Along with adding ways to generate power like generators and solar panels, Power Grid also includes many ways to put your energy to good use, below are only a few of the possibilities:
- Portable Drill and Saw: Replace your outdated manual tools with these automated beauties that don't drain any durability as long as you wear a battery.
- Electro-Zapper: Unlike a bow, this ranged weapon doesn't require any arrows, only a supply of energy!
- Modular Displays: Allow you to display numbers, text and much more by using electricity
- Factory Lights: A brand new way to light up your tall buildings, with a greatly increased vertical range.
- Basin Heater: An electric alternative to the beloved blaze burner.
- Light Bulb: Erase the darkness from your world in a fashionable manner.
- Growth Lamp: Speeds up crop growth around it, allowing you to produce your food much faster.
- Alarm Bell: Unleash your artistic potential! These allow you to make sound and control the pitch based on the voltage.
- Electric Motor: Power your create machines using the great power of electricity.
- Servo: A motor whose position can be precisely controlled by a voltage signal, allowing you to make things like doors and precise mechanisms without worry.
- FE compatibility: Don't worry, Power Grid is Compatible with many other mods, you can power blocks that use FE directly with Power Grid using device connectors, and use the FE inverter to convert it the other way around!
Power Grid also gives you the ability to create completely custom and functional single-block circuit boards. You first lay out the components and traces in a Circuit Design Table properly plugged into the power, then you etch the design onto an empty board, add the components and that's it! You just make yourself an entirely customized PCB!
This mod is designed to be highly configurable. You can change properties of devices, as well as core behaviors of the mod (e.g. overheat behavior) very easily by simply acessing the config files!

Create: Power Grid Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
