⚙️ How it works

• You can place the plugin file into the plugins folder on your server. In this case, it will work as a plugin and automatically add the server to your list when launched.
• Alternatively, you can place the same file into the mods folder on your client. In this mode, it will work as a mod. To allow your friends to join, you need to open your single-player world to LAN.
• Your friends can connect to proximamp.com using the Minecraft version supported by your server (or ViaVersion if installed).
• Once connected, open the menu.
• In the bottom-right corner, select “Локальные сервера” (command block icon).
• Choose your friend’s server from the list and join instantly.

Why use ProximaTunnel?

Hosting a server for friends is often tricky: opening ports, configuring routers, or downloading additional tools.
With ProximaTunnel, you just start your server, and your friends can join immediately.

Installation Guide

Setting up your local server

• Download a local Minecraft server (use a plugin-supported server core, e.g. Paper).
• Start the server once.
• Open the file eula.txt and set eula=true.
• Place the plugin .jar file into the plugins folder.
• Start the server again and let it load completely, then shut it down.
• Open the server.properties file:
• Set online-mode=false.
• Change the motd value to your own text (this will be displayed in the server list menu).
• Open the plugin configuration at plugins/ProximaMP/config.yml.
• If you want to change the menu icon shown for your server, replace GRASS_BLOCK with another Minecraft item.
• Start the server again – your setup is complete!

Connecting with friends

• Your friends join the hub server at proximamp.com using the version supported by your local server (or ViaVersion if installed).
• Open the menu.
• In the bottom-right corner, select “Локальные сервера” (command block icon).
• Find your server in the list and click on it to join instantly.
