This mod is NOT recommended on large public servers due to the way the
Ink Arena event works, this is because only one event can be active at a time.
It's perfectly fine for servers with friends though!
This mod adds two new structures with several items and mobs.
There are eight new enemies, one of which is a boss. Here are a couple of them:
Splotch
- a basic enemy that does minimal damage.
Morphink
- shoots dangerous projectiles; kill it before it transforms into a stronger enemy.

Defeating the boss give you a soul core; use it to craft one of the new weapons!

Lmb: shoot a piercing slash
can only activate if there are no nearby mobs.

- Hold Rmb: charge an attack to throw all nearby mobs into the air.
- Lmb: cast an ink spell.
-------- Soul Brush --------
Rmb: paint a soul rune on the ground; when a mob walks on it, it breaks and applies the marked effect.
Lmb: paint an ink rune on the ground; if a mob thats marked walks on it, it breaks and explodes nearby marked mobs.

The Ink Arena auf dem Server installieren
Server bestellen
Bestelle einen Minecraft Java Server mit mindestens 3 GB RAM (4 GB empfohlen).
forge Loader setzen
Wähle im Panel unter "Egg" den forge-Loader und die passende Minecraft-Version (1.20.4).
Mod installieren
Öffne den Mod-Browser im Dashboard und suche nach "The Ink Arena". Klicke "Installieren" – fertig! Alternativ: Lade die .jar via SFTP in den /mods Ordner.

The Ink Arena Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
Häufigste Ursache: falsche forge-Version oder zu wenig RAM. Prüfe im Server-Log (latest.log), ob ein "OutOfMemoryError" oder "Mixin"-Fehler auftritt. Bei Mado Hosting: Stelle sicher, dass mindestens 3 GB RAM zugewiesen sind und der Loader zur Mod-Version passt (1.20.4). Über das Panel kannst du den Loader mit einem Klick wechseln.
Ist The Ink Arena mit forge und neoforge kompatibel?
The Ink Arena unterstützt offiziell forge, neoforge für Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.1. Im Mado Dashboard werden inkompatible Loader-Kombinationen automatisch erkannt.
Server laggt mit The Ink Arena – wie optimiere ich die Performance?
Empfohlener RAM: 4 GB (+1 GB pro 8 Spieler). Prüfe mit /spark profiler, ob The Ink Arena den meisten Tick-Time verbraucht. Häufige Fixes: Server-View-Distance auf 8-10 reduzieren, bei Forge "performant" oder "starlight" als Zusatz-Mod installieren. Bei Mado Hosting läuft dein Server auf NVMe-SSDs mit dedizierten CPU-Kernen für minimale Latenz.
