Compatible with NeoForge, Fabric, and Bukkit-based platforms (Spigot and Paper).
🛑 Make sure that you are using the Java version of Minecraft. WorldEdit does not support Bedrock!
Mod version:
- Install NeoForge or Fabric.
- Download WorldEdit from this page (make sure you grab the mod version, not the plugin).
- Put the WorldEdit mod file into your mods folder.
Plugin version:
- Set up a Bukkit server such as Spigot or Paper (Paper is recommended over Spigot).
- Download WorldEdit from this page (make sure you grab the plugin version, not the mod).
- Put the WorldEdit plugin file into your plugins folder.

Do I need cheats on?
If you're playing on single player: Yes, cheats must be enabled for the world to use WorldEdit, but you can change this in the configuration. If you're running a server: Only opped users can use WorldEdit, though this can be changed too.
Can anyone use it?
On servers, only opped users or users with permissions supplied with a permissions plugin can use WorldEdit. On LAN, anyone can use it if cheats are enabled.

Bestelle einen Minecraft Java Server mit mindestens 3 GB RAM (4 GB empfohlen).
bukkit Loader setzen
Wähle im Panel unter "Egg" den bukkit-Loader und die passende Minecraft-Version (26.2).
Mod installieren
Öffne den Mod-Browser im Dashboard und suche nach "WorldEdit". Klicke "Installieren" – fertig! Alternativ: Lade die .jar via SFTP in den /mods Ordner.

WorldEdit //set oder //replace crasht den Server bei großen Selektionen – Fix?
Große Operationen (>100.000 Blöcke) überladen den Main-Thread. Lösung: 1) Installiere FAWE (Fast Async WorldEdit) – führt Operationen asynchron aus. 2) Begrenze die maximale Selektionsgröße: worldedit.properties → maxChangeLimit=50000. 3) Nutze //limit <anzahl> vor großen Operationen. Bei Mado Hosting: FAWE ist über den Mod-Browser mit 1-Klick installierbar.
WorldEdit Server crasht beim Start – was tun?
Häufigste Ursache: falsche bukkit-Version oder zu wenig RAM. Prüfe im Server-Log (latest.log), ob ein "OutOfMemoryError" oder "Mixin"-Fehler auftritt. Bei Mado Hosting: Stelle sicher, dass mindestens 3 GB RAM zugewiesen sind und der Loader zur Mod-Version passt (26.2). Über das Panel kannst du den Loader mit einem Klick wechseln.
Bekannte Probleme & Server-Tipps
- ⚠//undo nach sehr großen Operationen kann ebenfalls crashen – History-Size begrenzen mit //limit.
- ⚠WorldEdit + Fabric: Nutze die Fabric-spezifische Version (WorldEdit für Fabric), nicht die Bukkit/Spigot-Version.
